GP – October 2017
Many thanks for kindly managing this 73 year old lady who presents with left sided sciatica for about a month now. She tells me that she has had some physiotherapy so far which has been greatly beneficial in easing her pain.
Patients GP to Consultant/Specialist at RNOH– October 2017
This slim and active lady is very disappointed to find herself with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis which means she cannot be as active as she would like. She is recently experiencing lower back, hip and knee pain and has started Pilates. She went to a very thorough and respected Physio ........ I wondered if you felt there was anything else I should be offering her.
Consultant Feedback – Aug 2017
Thank you for managing this patient. Doing extremely well 7 weeks post surgery. Repair intact, active flexion. Please continue with rehab.
Consultant Feedback re Physiotherapy following kneecap replacement – Aug 2016
Robert is doing extremely well. He walked into clinic with no walking aids today. He is able to rise from the chair and I am very impressed with his recovery so far.
Neck Pain –NA of Stokenchurch (July 2017)
We discussed that I would update you after about two week as to how my neck was doing. I am pleased to report that it has improved significantly since I last saw you 2 weeks ago. I am keeping up with the exercises and have no further discomfort. I am therefore content that I do not require any further treatment at present. Thank you very much for your assistance in getting me sorted so quickly.
Back Pain – HM of North Harrow (June 2017)
I had meant to email you sooner to let you know that my back is completely pain free, so much so that I'd almost forgotten all about it! I'm continuing with the exercises, when I remember. I'm very grateful to you for your help and advice and will of course recommend you to anyone who has the need. Hopefully I won't have to see you again too soon but many, many thanks.
Shoulder Dislocation – RA of Stanmore (Feb 2014)
I wanted to thank you for the excellent care you have given me over the past 2 months and for finally getting me back in the swimming pool which I did this afternoon! When I dislocated my shoulder at the beginning of December I feared I would never be pain free or be able to swim again.
Your wonderful blend of kindness and diligence has been a pleasure to witness and I would have no hesitation in recommending your services as a Physiotherapist ‘par excellence’ to anyone who asked.
Low Back & Neck Pain – PV of Seer Green (Dec 2013)
Peter & I are so grateful to you for all the hard work you have put into getting us fit again! I know my neck is a long term problem, but with your excellent Physiotherapy & the exercises you are so strict about, it really has improved so much! And Peter’s sciatic pain is so much better thanks to you.
An Ode to Anne-Liese from a grateful patient – BG of Kenton (May 2012)
I was 92 with a dodgy knee, And my back wasn’t acting like it ought to be.
Anne-Liese then came up with a plan, And now I feel like I’m a new man!
Her exercises are sublime, And now my body’s working fine.
Tennis Elbow – PA of Pinner (March 2011)
I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent treatment you have given to me for injuries while playing tennis. So far, you have dealt admirably with my elbow and ankle and managed to treat another ailment that for 2 years my GP had told me there was nothing that could be done to help. In fact, 6 months on I continue to use the prevention regime you advised and have no further problems. Almost a miracle.
Telephonist with Adult Care Services – MB of Harrow (June 2010)
Just thought I would let you know how pleased I am with the equipment that was ordered as a result of my workstation assessment. My cordless headset gives my neck and shoulders such freedom and I don’t have to keep removing it as my previous one was attached to the board. My chair is tailor made to my needs and the trolley that I got eventually has made moving stationery and stock around so much easier.
Bad Back – Dec 2009 - RJ
I have hobbled into you and come out smiling! Not only do you listen to all my ‘bad back’ stories, as I have a curvature of the spine, you understand what I need to put me back on my feet! Seriously, words cannot express how thankful I am – Please don’t go anywhere!
Mobility Problems – AB of Northwood (July 2009)
I cannot begin to express my appreciation for your careful eye and useful guidance last week. In fifty years of living with mobility problems and pain I have never before enjoyed the luxury of a qualified professional examining how I sit, move and type. It was a revelation! In court on Friday I realised that my back was hurting badly because I kept swivelling around to reach my bench, book and various papers. Once I discovered the problem, I rearranged my papers and mitigated the pain for the duration of the sitting. Without your help, I would never have realised that such accommodations could be made to such good effect. With many thanks to your efforts to improve my life.
Member of Health Club – LP of Hatch End (July 2007)
I have been intending to write and thank you for all the good work which you have been doing at the Health Club. Not many club members know how helpful you can be when they have an ache or injury or are recovering from an operation such as a hip-joint replacement. I saw at first hand how quickly your weekly exercises in the swimming pool helped my 82 year old friend to walk after undergoing his two hip operations. Your help and ergonomic advice to him when buying more suitable shoes and appropriately high comfortable chairs is not often thought about. I now know just how important it is to sit comfortably in front of a computer or when watching TV if you want to avoid back-ache or strain. I hope that this letter helps to bring Anne-Liese Badyan’s name to the attention of other club members. They will not be disappointed.
